- Abstract
The article titled "The search in the Arthurian universe. From France to the Iberian Peninsula" reviews a book that compiles the works of researchers on the theme of the search in texts related to King Arthur and his fictional world. The book covers from Chrétien de Troyes to modern rewritings of the 20th century, including the 13th century prose Arthurian cycle, the Hispanic and Portuguese translations, and Thomas Malory's recreation. The researchers analyze how the search evolves and focuses on the sacred object of the Grail, as well as its relationship with self-knowledge and the depth of existence. The book also examines the evolution of the concept of search in different works and its relationship with religion, compassion, and identity.
