- Abstract
Sir Henry Dale was a renowned medical scientist known for his discoveries in physiology and pharmacology. Born in London in 1875, Dale attended Tollington Park College and later won a scholarship to Trinity College. He made significant contributions to the field of physiology, including the isolation of acetylcholine and the identification of chemical transmission of nerve impulses. Dale held various leadership roles and received numerous honors throughout his career. He passed away in 1968.
