- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the s-d hybridization in gold (Au) clusters on ceria nanorods. The study uses resonant photoemission spectroscopy (RPES) and performs density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Moreover, the observed 4f5/2- to-5d3/2 and 5p1/2-to-5d3/2 resonant electronic transitions provide the evidence for s-d hybridization.
