- Abstract
In order to prevent accident events in public places by analyzing and forecasting pedestrian state in video surveillance scenario, this paper proposed an improved inner-grid parking cellular automata (IPCA) model. Specifically, according to the variance of pedestrian speed, the model acquired speed value in a cellular grid under real situation. Meanwhile, it introduced parking time in cellular grid to eliminate position error of each unit during its proceeding, determining forward and content parameters by a human-visual-field-like triangular visual field. Results show that IPCA is independent of pedestrian motion data of a certain video frame, and its simulation is capable to verge to a real video scenario. Hence, IPCA brings a better accuracy.
