- Abstract
A case study is presented concerning a 57-year-old female patient with acute eczema on the eyelids and cheeks following use of an eye contour cream containing vitamin K1 oxide. It states that only six cases of allergic contact dermatitis resulting from products containing phytonadione epoxide have been observed since the non-oxidized form of vitamin K1 (noK1) was banned in 2009. It reports she previously suffered a reaction to noK1 showing this to be a cross-reaction case.
