- Abstract
The article presents a case study of an elderly woman who was admitted to a hospital for worsening skin ichthyosis and details the patient's medical history including hypertension and diabetes mellitus. The patient then underwent for a skin biopsy with informed written consent for compliance, and revealed the patient's deficient in stratum corneum intercellular lipid. The article also discusses the role of SDR9CR gene in promoting lymph node metastases in patient with ichthyosis.
