- Abstract
The article discusses a study which investigated the influence of interleukin-six gene polymorphisms in epicardial adipose tissue and coronary artery calcification in psoriasis patients. Topics discussed include the link between psoriasis and increased risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and other factors that define interleukin-six levels in such patients. The limitations of the study are also discussed.
