- Abstract
The article focuses on the forest carbon sinks in the Northern Hemisphere. It states that estimates of the magnitude and distribution of sinks for atmospheric carbon dioxide vary greatly. It also suggests that estimates of changes in soil carbon pools have improved but remain the least in terms of the budgets.
