- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the association of glutathione S-transferase (GST) enzyme polymorphism to survival rate of anaplastic glioma (AG) patients. The study compared the overall survival (OS) rates of 207 AG patients based on their medical records using the Kaplan-Meier method and Cox proportional hazards analyses. It was found out that those patients with GSTT1 non-null genotype had improved OS following their adjustment for known prognostic factors.
