- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the incidence of infusion-related reactions (IRR) of patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) treated with Irinotecan, Cetuximab and premedications of corticosteroids and antihistamines. Methodology involves a post-hoc analysis of the monoclonal antibody erbitux in a European pre-license (MABEL) study in regards to IRR and premedications. It reveals that mCRC premedicated patients have reduced incidence of Cetuximab-associated IRRs.
