- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the diagnostic value of putaminal abnormalities on 3.0 T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for differentiating multiple system atrophy with parkinsonism (MSA-P) from Parkinson's disease (PD). It details the methodology and materials in examining the subjects through the conventional protocol. The study presents the specific signs in differentiating MSA-P from PD and healthy controls based on the sensitivity limits in its diagnostic value.
