- Abstract
Stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) is an innovative irradiation technique which delivers high dose per fraction in a highly accurate way. It allows to treat medically inoperable patients with non-small cell lung cancer, with impressive local control rates and a very little toxicity. The different SBRT techniques available are presented in this article. Results from literature studies of SBRT for stage I non-small cell lung cancer are reviewed.
