- Authors
Gardin, Fredrick A.; Mensch, James M.
- Abstract
The article presents a study conducted to analyze injury-evaluation domain knowledge of collegiate male certified Athletic Trainers (ATs), by conducting a situational interview using a think-aloud protocol. It mentions that 20 male certified ATs were interviewed at the National Athletic Trainers' Association District 3 and triangulation of data and field journaling techniques were used to ensure data credibility. Expert ATs, as compared to novices, had greater knowledge on patient history.
