- Abstract
The article discusses issues related to sports management. It is informed that the academic field of sport management is in strong demand due to significant growth of the sports industry. It is also informed that sport management is facing challenges to establish its own identity as an independent academic discipline and so sport management scholars need to effectively communicate their research agenda to solidify sport management as an academic discipline.
