- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the relationship of instability of passive typing speed and mood instability among bipolar patients. The study uses BiAffect Android application to perform ecological momentary assessment (EMA) on affective state of participants including mood, energy, and impulsive actions. Result shows the potential use of EMA and smartphone technologies, and changes in phone interaction to predict worsening of mood and behavior.
