- Abstract
Project-based experimental teaching plays an important role in cultivating the abilities of practical and creative ability for science students. The task before us is how to setup effective experimental facilities and arrange rational integrated trainings. In the field of electrical engineering education, a project of automotive inverter power supply designed for undergraduate power electronics and drives group course is presented. Two-stage converter with push-pull booster and full-bridge inverter is included in the main circuit topology, it contributes to the reduction of hardware size and noise pollution. Based on this project, the power system can be expanded to the integrated training task of singlephase A C motor control. The basic concept and hands-on experience of the electrical drive can be gained by students, and hence, their independent innovation and practical skills are also improved.
