- Abstract
The article reports that ABC has stop broadcasting the Spanish language version of World News Tonight. It was in October of 2000 that ABC began airing the Spanish language version as an experiment and had dropped its programming after one year. According to Jeffrey Schneider, vice president of ABC News, the ABC value the Hispanic viewers greatly and had hopes that Spanish would bring more viewers to World News Tonight and continue to look for ways to report on issues of particular importance to Hispanic Americans.
