- Abstract
The article focuses on study which has investigated the association between personal hygiene habits, such as frequent baths and showers and use of skin creams, and allergic sensitization. It mentions personal care products contain antimicrobial agents such as triclosan or parabens which have been reported to have immune modulating properties in skin tissues. It also mentions eczema may use excessive amount of body creams compared to a person without eczema.
