- Abstract
The article describes a case of a posterior cortical atrophy (PCA) with Pittsburgh compound B (PIB) accumulation in the primary visual cortex of a 63-year-old woman presented with a history of poor vision. The patient's neuropsychological evaluations showed visuospatial dysfunction and dyscalculia. It was demonstrated in the neuroimaging studies that there were two regions showing different PIB/fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) patterns in her occipital lobe. It was also concluded that in her occipital lobe, deposition was not associated with clinical features.
