- Abstract
The article discusses the study on thrombophilic factors and direct immunofluorescence findings in livedoid vasculopathy (LV) which produces cutaneous necrosis and shallow ulcerations due to vessel occlusion. It notes that the lesions often become confluent and reticulate. Details of the findings are presented. The presence of thrombophilic factors in 36 of these 38 patients with LV are also examined. Patients with laboratory abnormalities and evidence of procoagulant conditions are discussed.
