- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 44-year-old man who developed intestinal nonrotation causing distal duodenal obstruction. The man presented with a one-month history of nonspecific abdominal pain. The cause of intestinal rotation disorders are abnormal fixation and/or rotation of the gut during embryologic development, thus predisposing to midgut volvulus and small bowel obstruction.
