- Abstract
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of different inclusion levels of an enzyme complex SSF, added as "on top" after extrusion in feed tambacu. Weight, weight gain, feed conversion, survival, total length, biomass, and biomass gain in standard length: performance parameters were evaluated. The experiment consisted of six treatments which were: 0, 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000ppm SSF / ton of feed, in a completely randomized design with four replications. Each aquarium contained ten fish, and totaling 240 animals, with initial average weight 0.42 ± 0.015 g. The fish were fed four times a day (8, 11, 14, 17 hours) to satiation avoiding remnants of feed for 56 days. Results were evaluated using regression at a significance level of 0.05 probability. It was noticed that inclusion of 600 ppm SSF "on top" provided better feed conversion ratios. No trends in survival, final weight, weight gain, total length, the final biomass and biomass gain in standard length was observed. Therefore, it is recommended to include "on top" of 600ppm SSF in diets for tambacu.
