- Abstract
The authors comment on a study published within the issue which offered insights into the public health impacts of a tire factory fire in South Korea. Cited are the significance of data collection and health studies following environmental disasters, the limitations of using electronic health records (EHR) in exploring the health effects of disasters, and examples of programs and resources to support researchers and health authorities in studying the health impacts of disasters.
