Adjust 2: Adjusted for body mass index in addition to Adjust 1 In conclusion, as reported in our study [[1]], body mass index was not a confounding variable in the relationship between nut intake and hypertension. Finally, we analyzed the odds ratio of hypertension risk according to nut intake, adding body mass index to the confounding variables (age, household income, education level, current smoking, etc.).
