- Abstract
This study questioning basic assumptions of mainstream social science and class literature related to the relation and interaction between religion(s) and trade unionism. In this framework an alternative conceptual framework has been developed and discussion has been deepened around an attempt to re-construction of the classical East-West cleavage: As different traditions as contrasting powers in a constant relational flow far from being unrelated opposite poles representing simply the other's lacks. In this framework, the study also aims to explore main characteristics as distinctive traditions of class struggle and trade unionism to those different in their own evolutionary schema, taken place in such a world of constant relationality not in isolation to the rest of the world.
