- Abstract
The article focuses on a research on mucosal immunity enhanced by dietary Apostichopus japonicus. Topics discussed include role of lysozyme as innate immune effector located at mucosal surfaces to prevent infections, immunomodulatory efficacy of sea cucumbers and, better effects of A. japonicus ameliorated lysozyme on respiratory organs of immunosuppressive mice.
