- Abstract
The article focuses on the investigation of the importance of expression level of the mutant allele VTC2 in regulation of ascorbate (AsA) biosynthesis in the flowering plant Arabidopsis through transient expression analysis during light and dark environments. Topics discussed include construction of plasmids for transient expression of AsA, amplification of DNA by polymerase chain reaction and transformation of strain C58 of Agrobacterium tumefaciens to infect Arabidopsis by electroporation.
