- Abstract
The article focuses on a study that discusses analysis of long-chain Free Fatty Acid (FFA) in mouse plasma and liver by Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS). Topics discussed include LC-MS assay used for analysis of lipid metabolism, Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α (PPARα) regulates lipid metabolism and analysis of changes in FFA after treatment with bezafibrate, a PPARα agonist. It also mentions that bezafibrate decreases adipose tissue weight.
