- Title
Bureaucracy and the constitution.
- Authors
Riggs, Fred W.
- Abstract
Bureaucracies influence constitutions. They may help them survive or undermine them. The article involves interactions between the U.S. Constitution and the public bureaucracy. The article focus on the Constitution because its implications for public administration are not well understood. The comparative study of public administration will enhance the ability to understand public administration in the country and to enhance the status and usefulness as a meta-profession in the country.
