- Authors
Frederickson, Robert M.
- Abstract
This article reports on the decision of GE Healthcare to shutdown its CodeLink business unit based in Tempe, Arizona in early 2007. GE Healthcare inherited the unit from the former Amersham Biosciences. It explains that the CodeLink franchise produced DNA microarrays that are superior compared to similar products marketed by Agilent and Applied Biosystems. The news of the shutdown is bad for customers who use CodeLink products.
