- Abstract
Explains that bulk glassy alloys have superior glass forming ability (GFA) and high thermal stability against crystallization in the supercooled liquid state. Zirconium-aluminum-nickel ingots with different microstructures were obtained by varying the number of repeated times of arc melting; Investigation of the effect of repeated melting of the ingot on the GFA of the alloy.
