- Abstract
In order to study the influence of the structure of linear shaped charge, the finite element software LS-DYNA was used to simulate the process of linear shaped charge penetrating the 45 steel with different truncation heights of conical, flat and domed structures. The results show that: the shape and penetration performance of the linear shaped charge jet are greatly affected by the different structure of the linear shaped charge liner; The flat top linear shaped charge has optimum penetration performance at truncation height of 16 mm, with a 6.3% increase in maximum depth of penetration compared to the conical top structure; The domed top linear shaped charge has optimum penetration performance at a truncation height of 10 mm, with a 15.6% increase in maximum penetration depth compared to the conical structure.
