- Abstract
This article discusses the anesthetic challenges faced in a case of Myasthenia Gravis (MG) during thymectomy surgery. The patient, a 26-year-old male with a 1-year MG diagnosis, underwent plasmapheresis and received MG medications prior to the procedure. During the surgery, neuromuscular blocking agents (NMBA) and reversal agents were used, and the patient was successfully extubated without complications. The authors emphasize the importance of optimizing treatment, safe use of NMBA, and appropriate dose management for MG patients undergoing thymectomy.
