- Abstract
The frame-corewall structure is one of the most common structural systems in super high-rise buildings. When the outer frame is made of reinforced concrete,it usually has good economy. However,due to the large weight of the structure and the large size of the components,it is necessary to balance the economy and building space quality. Taking the office tower of a comprehensive development proj‐ ect in Zengcheng as an example,the application of C80 concrete in super high-rise eccentric RC frame-corewall structure is introduced. The research shows that the application of high-strength concrete and high-strength steel can effectively reduce the section size of the outer frame column,improve the building space quality and structural seismic performance while giving consideration to the economy. High strength mate‐ rials have broad application scenarios in super high-rise structures.
