Vernacular architecture manages to live very well with the environment, using its resources consciously. Brazil has several types of vernacular architecture present and a good example of this is the Brazilian office Taipa, which uses vernacular methods, both in projects inspired by colonial architecture and in the elaboration of its projects in general.
