- Abstract
Dithranol is one of the most widely use topical treatments for psoriasis. Irritation and staining by dithranol are better known. Skin irritation after repeated applications of dithranol have been studied. The allergic contact dermatitis can be caused from dithranol because skin sensitization is present. The Kobner phenomenon 12 days after patch testing suggests that a Kobner response, after an unrecognized contact allergic reaction can obliterate the eczematous phase.
