- Abstract
Ureteroscopy with laser lithotripsy (LL) has become the treatment of choice for kidney stones of all compositions, while leading the technology development in the surgical management of urinary stone disease [[1]]. Motivated by those requirements, we introduce a simple fabrication process of an optically transparent, anatomically realistic, and hydrogel-based kidney phantom. Finally, this kidney phantom offers a versatile tool for ureteroscopic LL simulation and training.
