- Abstract
The article discusses the reparations strategy of alderman Robin Rue Simmons and BRicK Partners consulting firm owner Robin Snyderman in Evanston, Illinois. It describes the wealth and opportunity losses due to segregation in Evanston. Under Simmon's strategy, 10 million dollars of city revenue was earmarked to the African American community through housing, economic development and educational initiatives. Also noted are other factors contributing to the disparate conditions in the community.
