The United States and World Whale Resources.
- Authors
McHugh, J. L.
- Abstract
The article outlines the efforts done by the federal government to conserve the wildlife resources in the U.S. The authorities have at first failed to address wildlife conservation wherein some of the institutions were mismanaged especially those concerned with the marine mammal resources. It reveals that the International Whaling Commission has not been outstandingly successful in saving some of the whales in the Antarctic but critics believed that without the institution's existence, the scenario would be much worse than expected. It states that the country has been a world leader in fish and wildlife conservation and it has a national policy that supports the International Whaling Commission.
