- Title
About Power at Elevators with Motion Control.
- Authors
Crăciun, Ioana
- Abstract
Elevators have a functioning cycle consisting from 3 steps: accelerating period, constant speed period, and decelerating period, followed by a short levelling and by stop. In order to reduce vibrations and for a precise levelling, certain acceleration profiles can be designed to obtain a smooth motion, meaning to eliminate any corner from the speed profile. This modelling will also have influence on the power of the AC motor, during a functioning cycle.
