The Godly Discipline of the Primitive Church.
- Authors
Bauerschmidt, John C.
- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses the ecumenical dialogue between Anglicans and Roman Catholics regarding discipleship and holiness. He mentions that in the Roman Catholic Church, private confession is part of the sacrament of penance while for Anglicans, private confession is a wholesome means of grace. He suggests that ecumenical dialogue can help understand and reclaim the gifts that have been forgotten.
