- Abstract
The article focuses on the pyrimethamine, a drug used primarily to treat toxoplasmosis in patients with advanced human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) disease. It mentions that improved flucytosine pricing for U.S. patients is a very positive development; and also mentions with use of amphotericin B based therapies limited by cost and the difficulties of managing daily intravenous infusions.
