- Abstract
The article presents information about L.C. Maillard, a French professor of biochemistry. He was born in 1878 and spent his childhood at Pont-à-Mousson, France. He studied both science and medicine. He moved to Paris, France, in 1902. A. Gautier, a professor with the medical faculty of the University of Paris, recognized his scientific qualities engaged him as his assistant.
