- Abstract
The article presents research which dealt with the importance of autoimmune gastritis (AG) to the diagnosis of cancer. According to the study, the AG is associated with several autoimmune diseases. The cluster of illnesses include type 1 diabetes mellitus, adrenalitis as well as vertigo. The research also showed that among first-degree relatives, there is a high prevalence of gastric autoantibodies and autoantibodies particular to those autoimmune endocrine illnesses related to AG.
