- Title
DIEZ ERRORES SOBRE EL zapatismo.
- Authors
Espinosa, Felipe Arturo Ávila
- Abstract
The article discusses the Zapata political and social movement during the Mexican Revolution based around revolutionary leader Emiliano Zapata. It presents a historiographical analysis of ten traditional conceptions of the movement that the author believes should be corrected. Some statements that are refuted are that it was a movement of rural peasants against the plantations, that it was incapable of building a national state, and that it did not involve looting and other crimes.
