- Authors
Howard, Jamie Lee; Khoja‐Moolji, Shenila
- Abstract
Khoja-Moolji provides a comparative analysis, juxtaposing several sovereign forces competing for supporters and the justification of violence illustrating that sovereignty is not given for any political group. Sheila Khoja-Moolji addresses the intersection of masculinity, militarism, and sovereignty in Pakistan in her book I Sovereign Attachments Masculinity, Muslimness, and Affective Politics in Pakistan i . Khojo-Moolji clearly supports her claim that competing sovereigns reference emotional figurations in an attempt to bind the public to their cause, and to justify especially violent action they have taken or will take.
