- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 76-year-old man who presented with signs and symptoms of pneumonia. Topics covered include the medical history of the patient, the findings of the physical and laboratory examinations which led to the diagnosis of vacuoles, E1 enzyme, X-linked, antiinflammatory, somatic (VEXAS) syndrome, and the unusual infectious manifestations of VEXAS in this patient.
