- Abstract
This document discusses the prevalence of mental disorders in the state of Durango, Mexico, one year after the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. A study was conducted using a probabilistic sampling method and structured interviews with 804 participants to assess the prevalence of mental disorders. The results showed that the current depressive episode had the highest prevalence, followed by anxiety disorders and the risk of suicide. The study found that the prevalence of mental disorders exceeded previous projections, highlighting the importance of monitoring mental health during crises like a pandemic.
