- Abstract
As part of the research project: "Students and the first year in University. Compared perspectives among academic programs", under the direction of Gladys Ambroggio, a series of reflections that come from one of its sources: lectures observation are presented. The interest in working on what we call "teaching offer" is aimed at revealing -at least partially- what could be recognized as the "black box" of organizational and pedagogic processes that affect the student's education. Among the sources of investigation were included the observation of lectures, because working with such abstract and broad notions implies an empirical approach that enables advancing beyond what is expressed in written documents, such as study plans, programs and regulations. ¿What are the characteristics of the in-class situation in the first year of a humanity academic program? To answer this question we analyze some of the aspects that were devised as an analytical outline in the research project.
