- Abstract
The article presents information on a study which described the replication of the nanoscopic network structure of acrylamide series hydrogels in silica matrix. A review of the related literature is given. Among the reagents and methods utilized were N,N'-dimethylacrylamide (DMAM), N,N'-diethylacrylamide (DEAM) and transmission electron microscopy. Findings showed that larger nanopores were formed due to larger contract in the polarity between the structure directing hydrogel and solid matrix.
